UseNexus Carbon Capture Sweden was founded by scientists and experts who have spent their careers in energy systems. We build technology that captures carbon dioxide inside buildings and turns it into a resource.
Our mission
Beyond climate targets
We want to change how the world sees carbon dioxide: from an environmental burden to a valuable resource. Our technology leverages something no other capture approach uses, the CO2 people exhale indoors, and turns buildings themselves into part of the climate solution. The goal is for the built environment to exceed its decarbonization targets, not just meet them.

The technology behind UseNexus is grounded in twenty years of world-leading research on energy efficiency and climate control at Linköping University. That foundation shapes everything we do: our solutions are developed, tested and refined by people who have devoted their careers to energy systems.

Public co-financing
UseNexus has received public co-financing from EIP-AGRI via Jordbruksverket (the Swedish Board of Agriculture), Vinnova (Sweden's innovation agency) and the Swedish Energy Agency for pilot development, validating the technology's strategic relevance to national energy and food policy objectives.
