CARBON CAPTURE

SWEDEN

Our mission

At UseNexus Carbon Capture Sweden, we’re not just imagining a sustainable future, we’re building it. We harness the power of direct air capture technology to extract carbon dioxide directly from the air, turning a significant environmental challenge into a resource. This isn’t just about meeting the decarbonization goals, it’s about exceeding them. We’re tapping into the vast potential of human metabolism, opening up new avenues for air capture technologies. Join us in our mission to create a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable built environment. Together, we can turn the tide on climate change.

Our technology

Selective capture of CO2

We use advanced eco-friendly adsorbent materials, strategically integrated into the ventilation system to increase the efficiency of CO2 capture. These materials have an outstanding capability to capture CO2.

The innovative technology developed by UseNexus utilizes a state-of-the-art system that integrates advanced adsorbent materials into building ventilation systems, selectively capturing metabolic and atmospheric CO2 molecules. This pioneering technology not only contributes significantly to the reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere but also offers the versatility to be utilized in buildings with diverse occupancy levels, both in Sweden and worldwide. A key advantage of this system is that the purified CO2 can be compressed and stored for different purposes, such as boosting crop growth in greenhouses.

CO2 separation

Once the adsorbent reaches its capacity and becomes saturated with CO2, we initiate the regeneration phase. This phase provides conditions, such as heating of the adsorbent, to release the captured CO2.

Compression, storage, and reuse of CO2

The final phase consists of compressing, storing, and reusing the CO2. The purified CO2 has multiple applications, including its use in enriching concrete and producing chemicals, as well as in food production.
